On Saturday 3 June 2023, a working meeting took place between the OIEC – International Catholic Education Office, represented by its new Secretary General, Mr Hervé Lecomte, and the OMAEC, represented by its President, Mr Alfonso Giraldo and Executive Vice-President Mr José Ramón Batiste.
The purpose of this meeting is to relaunch relations between the two organisations and to take advantage of the synergies generated in favour of Catholic Education and in particular the dissemination and implementation of the Global Pact for Education promoted by Pope Francis.
