Simón de Jesús Pinillo, is a young former student from La Salle Margarita College, at Colón city, Panama, he came from a Catholic family with evangelical values. He is currently studying medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama.
He is committed with the Mary Help of Christians of the Diocese of Colón and Kuna Yala as an agent of youth ministry; he practices basketball and loves music very much.
“…I am a young person who tries to be authentic, enjoys life, make efforts to honor his parents, makes his own decisions and struggles to assume the consequences of those decisions. He encourage himself to allow God to always be in the beginning of what he does. I try to live happily and see the positive aspects in all situations. As a young man, I have insecurities and mistakes but that is what life is all about and I am slowly learning to bear even better for myself, for those around me and for those to come….”.
Simon de Jesus will represent the OMAEC Youth at the Second Preparatory Meeting for World Youth Days 2019; this preparatory meeting will take place in Panama from June 6 to 10, 2018, organized by the Holy See through the Dicastery of the Laity, Family and Life – ROME.
