Following the Annual Meeting of the Executive Committee in Antananarivo (Madagascar) earlier this month, here are some of the main results:
- A new communication strategy was approved, including the launching of the new UMAEL website early next year and the creation of a regular news bulletin.
• Reinforcement of the use of social media to inform our membership of activities of the Lasallian world.
• Procedure for new membership was approved in accordance with our by-laws.
• The use of online services for fee payments, updating federation and association information and others will be available in the near future.
• We are working on establishing a permanent channel for communication and attention of our membership.
• General guidelines for the next Congress were established.
• Reinforcement of the regional work will continue to be encouraged, including meetings and encounters.
